Yuletide, as we know it — a celebration of the holiday season with a buffet-style dinner for Augustana faculty, staff, retirees and their families — began in 2017, with the arrival of Herseth Sandlin. Bringing the community together to celebrate Christmas has always been an Augustana tradition.
With a deep love of Augustana, when it came time for their estate planning, Les and Carolyn (Hybertson) Svendsen ‘66 decided to include their alma mater.
Augustana University is excited to announce that its seventh annual Giving Day will take place on Friday, May 12. Giving Day 2023 allows the Augustana community to “Go for Bold” in support of the university's enduring commitments, as well as several special initiatives.
