非盟的校内活动

The Augustana University intramural recreational sports program enriches student life by offering a broad range of activities designed to meet the varied needs of the campus community. The wholesome competition provided by intramurals allows students to develop sport skills and improve physical fitness.

More than 96% of the student body participates in one or more 休闲服务 event. More than 50 activities are offered each year for people of all skill levels including an AU special — 狗咬狗.

List yourself as a free 年龄nt in as many divisions within a league as you’d like. You will be visible to all members of the site and can request to join teams, or post information about yourself so teams can request to add you to their team.

体育精神

The 休闲服务 Department stresses that participants display good 体育精神在任何时候. The department will not tolerate physical or verbal abuse of opponents or officials, 违反体育道德或任何其他不当行为. If participants do not receive high enough 体育精神 ratings throughout league play, they will not be allowed to participate in the tournament at the end of each league.

参加康乐服务完全是自愿的. Each individual assumes the risk for any harm or injuries caused by negligence or any intentional acts. 休闲服务 staff are not responsible for injuries occurred while playing. All injuries/accidents should be reported to the supervisor in charge of competition and a complete report made at the 休闲服务 Department.

抗议活动

事件质疑官员的判断不是依据抗议. Only matters involving eligibility and rule interpretation will be considered. A written 抗议 must be submitted to the Intramural Director (Mark Christenson) within 24 hours along with a $10 抗议 fee.

Captain's meetings are held after the entry deadline and before play begins in Room 230 of the Elmen Center. 如果队长不能出席，必须有代表出席. Teams not represented at this meeting will be charged a $5 forfeit fee and no games will be rescheduled if there are conflicts. The purpose of these meetings is to inform participants of the particular sport's rules and schedules and discuss general information. 联赛日程将在队长会议上调整.

The captain's award is an incentive program for the people who take charge of their intramural team! A forfeit will be declared if a team does not have the required number of players present at game time. 为了要求没收, the opposing team must have the number of players required to start a game — present and ready to play.
